Bold stands out with its customizable aluminum cosmetic stripes, highlighting the design range of Silverline. The combination of glass panels and high-quality stripes in trendy colors offers an opportunity to showcase personal style in the kitchen. Additionally, Bold features the New Generation BLDC Motor Technology of Strong, providing an A+ Energy class rating and a flow rate of 900 m3/h.
Producing long and thin parts like Bold's cosmetic stripes with a perfect cosmetic finish can be challenging. After extensive design and research, the Silverline Design Team determined that aluminum extrusion was the ideal material and production method. This choice allows for flexible customization and the creation of various Bold cosmetic stripes.
With dimensions of 596 mm wide (796-896 also available) x 410 mm depth x 750-1100 mm height, Bold offers easy installation and cleaning, lower energy consumption, and LED stripe illumination. These features, combined with its anodized colors, make Bold a versatile and efficient addition to any kitchen.
All elements of Bold are designed to enhance the user experience. The ventilation and lighting components are covered behind the angled front panel, providing a clear vision of the cooking area. The enhanced LED stripe lighting adjustment ensures optimal illumination, while the easy-reach control panel's height and low noise operation contribute to Silverline's human-centered design approach.
The Bold project began in November 2017 in Istanbul and was completed in August 2018. It was exhibited at IFA Berlin in August 2018 and at IMM Cologne 2019. The design was influenced by individualism movements seen in contemporary art installations, design fairs, and social movements. The Silverline Design Team's research and future trend insights led to a customizable product that can be personalized even after purchase.
Creating a unique face for Bold posed the greatest challenge during the design process. The Silverline Design Team analyzed future trends and created distinct textures. Through sketching, CAD modeling, and meticulous examination of prototypes, they ensured that the final product evoked the desired emotions through its form, flare, and shadows.
